The Madhubani painting kept me busy this holiday week. It is a folk art that expresses mythology as well as other old practices through bright colours, rich pattens and lovely figures. Traditionally, it is made with a special nib and natural colours but I adapted it, using ball point pen and acrylic. These paintings can brighten up any place in your house.
