It is that time of the year again when venturing out becomes a Herculean Task in otherwise nice Minnesota. In January, the beautiful state turns frigid, harsh and difficult. Here are some pictures as the temperature continues to tease and freeze the residents. Today, it is down to -24 degrees centigrade, but the golden Sun is shining, extending much needed cheer and warmth.
OMG!🙄😇🌷

I actually quite like winters in the upper Midwest, although they’re certainly uncomfortable!

Great to know that Josh. Do you live around here? When the Sun is shining it gorgeous, but otherwise it is really uncomfortable while going out. But from indoors, it looks great!

I spent most of my life in Northeast Ohio. It doesn’t get anywhere near as cold there as in Minnesota, but it gets cold enough.

Oh nice… would love to visit Ohio someday. 😀👏

You should 🙂 We get plenty of snow here, but it’s usually not so cold that you can’t enjoy it…as long as you dress warmly!

I am just back from a long trip to the US and it was freezing in New York on 31st Dec…we had to head back home without seeing the ball-drop!

That looks cold. Thank you for sharing your part of the world and scenes that I will never see here in the subtropics.

Beautiful photos, Shivangi, but I don’r envy you those temperatures! We just have cloudy and miserable, and often wet, but it isn’t too cold at all (at the moment!) Plenty of layers of clothing needed for your family, I think. It does look so pretty, though. 😀

It is pretty from inside the house Millie. White purity everywhere. But if someone asks you to visit them or you really need to go out, it is not fun at all😀😀😀. Thanks for coming over😀
